I use 3x5 cards. I keep them in a 3x5 plastic box holder that you can buy at Rite-Aid or other places. I label the cards as follows: LOADING DATA. #2 Line-CAL. (then for what gun) #3 Line; POWDER: #4 Line; PRIMER; #5 Line; CASE, #6 Line; BULLET; #7 Line; POWDRE CHARGE WT. At bottom on last 3 lines you have room to make a section for "NOTES" HINT, also number your cards to keep them in order.
LOADING DATA (CARD #)
CAL: (LIST THE GUN THIS LOAD IS FOR)
POWDER:
PRIMER:
CASE:
BULLET:
POWDER CHARGE WT.:

NOTES:

I find this keeps the info avaible and handy to refer to when you are reloading. WARNING: DO NOT TRUST LOADS TO YOUR MIND! BECAUSE: " IF YOU MESS IT UP, I DON'T WANT TO PICK UP THE AFTER- MATH!!!!!!
WHEN YOU BUY POWDER: I number my just bought powder (#1-what ever) of the (same type like H4895) so you will use oldest powder first. I also write: OPEN on it when I open it. My open powder is normally on the bench but, if it is moved I will know witch can is open!

Excellent advice Don. Especially writing "open" on the powder container when you open it. I think we all could update our process for keeping data more accurate. Thankfully (or not) I'm not loading many calibers or many different powders now, but it is still a good idea to keep tabs.
